Driver's Unfastened Seat Belt Warning Light (1)

The seat belt warning light serves as a reminder to the driver: it illuminates for approximately 6 seconds each time the ignition is turned on, whether or not the seat belt is fastened.

If the driver's seat belt is unfastened after the ignition is turned on, the corresponding warning light remains illuminated until the seat belt is fastened.

If you do not fasten your seat belt and drive faster than 9 km/h, the warning light starts flashing until you reduce your speed to less than 6 km/h.

If you do not fasten your seat belt and drive faster than 20 km/h, the unfastened seat belt chime sounds for approximately 100 seconds and the warning light flashes.
