Do not disassemble or modify the seat belt systems. In addition, make sure that the seat belts and equipment are not damaged by seat hinges, doors, etc.

Periodic Inspection

All seat belts should be periodically inspected for signs of wear or damage. Any damaged parts must be replaced as soon as possible.

Keep Seat Belts Clean and Dry

Seat belts must be kept clean and dry. If necessary, clean them with warm water and mild soap. Do not use bleach, strong detergents, or abrasive materials, as they may damage and weaken the webbing.

When to Replace Seat Belts

The seat belt system must be completely replaced if the vehicle has been in an accident, even if no visible damage is present. We recommend using an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
