Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is designed to detect and monitor vehicles on the road ahead, or to help determine whether a pedestrian or cyclist is in the roadway. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist will warn the driver with an audible warning and a message in the LCD cluster if it determines that a collision is unavoidable. In certain cases, emergency braking may be applied.
