Entrance Door Lighting (if equipped)

When all doors are closed and locked, the courtesy lights are activated for 15 seconds under the following conditions:

• You press the door unlock button on the transmitter or the smart key.
• You press the button on the outside door handle.
• You approach the vehicle with the smart key (if equipped).

In addition, if the outside mirror folding switch is in AUTO, the mirrors will unfold automatically.

Door Handle Lights (if equipped)

When all doors (and the tailgate) are closed and locked, the door handle lights are activated for 15 seconds under the following conditions:

• You press the door unlock button on the transmitter or the smart key.
• You press the button on the outside door handle.
• You approach the vehicle with the smart key.

Parking and Low Beam Lights

When the headlight switch is on (low beam or AUTO position) and all doors (including the tailgate) are closed and locked, the parking lights and low beam lights turn on for 15 seconds under the following conditions.

• You press the door unlock button on the transmitter or the smart key.

If you press the door lock or unlock button, the parking and low beam lights turn off.

You can enable or disable the welcome functions in the User Settings mode on the LCD screen. For more details, refer to "LCD Display" in this chapter.
