Anti-Theft System
This system protects your vehicle and valuables. The horn sounds and the hazard warning lights flash continuously in the following situations:
- A door is opened without using the transmitter or smart key.
- The tailgate is opened without using the transmitter or smart key.
- The hood is opened.
The alarm remains active for 30 seconds, then the system resets. To deactivate the alarm, unlock the doors using the transmitter or smart key.
The theft alarm system automatically activates 30 seconds after the doors and tailgate are locked. To arm the system, lock the doors and tailgate from outside the vehicle using the transmitter or smart key, or by pressing the button on the outside door handle while carrying the smart key.
The hazard warning lights flash and the horn sounds once to indicate that the system is armed.
After the security system is armed, opening any door or the tailgate without the smart key or transmitter will trigger the alarm.
The theft alarm system will not arm if the hood, tailgate, or any door is not properly closed. If the theft alarm system does not arm, check that the hood, tailgate, and all doors are securely closed.
Do not attempt to modify this system or add other devices to it.
Information
- Wait until all occupants have exited the vehicle before locking the doors. If the last occupant leaves the vehicle while the system is armed, the alarm will sound.
- If the vehicle is not disarmed using the transmitter or smart key, unlock the door with the mechanical key, turn the ignition to the ON position (transmitter) or start the engine (smart key), and wait 30 seconds.
- When the system is disarmed, if you do not open a door or the tailgate within 30 seconds, the vehicle will lock automatically.

Information
