Manual Adjustment
The front seat can be adjusted using the levers located under the seat cushion. Before driving, adjust the seat to the proper position so that you can easily operate the steering wheel, pedals, and controls on the instrument panel.

Forward and Backward Adjustment
To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Pull up the seat slide adjustment lever and hold it.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position.
3. Release the lever and make sure the seat is locked in place. Try to move the seat forward and backward without using the lever. If the seat moves, it is not locked properly.

Bucket seat
To recline a seatback:
1. Lean forward slightly and lift the seatback recliner lever.
2. Carefully lean back against the seatback and adjust the seatback to the desired position.
3. Release the lever and make sure the seatback is locked.
Reclining Seatback
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when belted, the protection provided by the safety system (seat belts and/or airbags) is significantly reduced by reclining the seatback.
WARNING
NEVER drive with the seatback reclined while the vehicle is moving.
Riding with a reclined seatback increases the chance of serious or fatal injury in a collision or sudden stop.
Drivers and passengers should ALWAYS sit upright in their seats, properly belted, with the seatback in an upright position.
Seat belts must fit snugly against the hips and chest to work properly. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its function because it does not lie against the chest. Instead, it will be in front of you. In an accident, you may be thrown into the seat belt, which may result in neck injury or other injuries. The more the seatback is reclined, the greater the chance that the passenger's hips will slide under the lap belt or the passenger's neck will strike the shoulder belt.

Seat Cushion Height
To change the seat cushion height:
- Pump the lever several times to lower the seat cushion.
- Pull the lever several times to raise the seat cushion.

Lumbar support (driver's seat, if equipped)
To adjust the lumbar support:
1. Press the front part of the switch (1) to increase support or the rear part of the switch (2) to decrease support.
2. Release the switch as soon as the lumbar support reaches the desired position.
