  1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and check that the body and tailgate are correctly aligned.
  2. After loosening the tailgate hinge mounting bolt (A), adjust the tailgate by moving it up and down or sideways.
  3. Adjust the clearance between the tailgate and the body by turning the tailgate bumpers (B).
  4. After loosening the tailgate latch mounting bolts (C), adjust the striker by moving it forward, backward, and sideways, then tighten the mounting bolts.
  5. Make sure the tailgate opens and closes properly.
