1. Tailgate Garnish

Repair Procedures

REPLACEMENT

[Lift the rear door trim]
  1. Remove the tailgate upper garnish. (Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Garnish")
  2. Remove the luggage compartment side trim. (Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Garnish")
  3. Remove the luggage compartment inside handles (A).
  4. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the power tailgate inside switch (B).
  5. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the lift trim (A).
  6. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
[Upper Tailgate Garnish]
  1. Using a screwdriver or puller, remove the tailgate upper garnish (A).
  2. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
[Lift the side trim]
  1. Remove the tailgate upper garnish. (Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Garnish")
  2. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the tonneau cover side trim (A).
  3. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
