Diagnosis with GDS

  1. BSD system malfunctions can be quickly diagnosed using GDS. GDS quickly operates actuators to monitor input/output values and perform self-diagnosis.
  2. Connect the GDS cable to the data link connector under the driver's side lower trim panel and start GDS.
  3. Select the vehicle model and the BSD system.
  4. Select "Check Input/Output" to check the current data of the BSD system.
  5. To check the operation of each actuator, select "Activation Test".
  6. Ignition "OFF", connect the GDS.
  7. Ignition "ON" and engine "OFF", select the system and mode "BSD Radar Calibration".
  8. GDS displays the steps of the BSD reset function.
    1. Clear the BSD diagnostic trouble codes.
    2. BSD Initialization.
  9. Perform the BSD initialization procedure.
