Rear Child-Protector Lock

The child-protector lock is designed to prevent rear-seat passengers, especially children, from accidentally opening the rear doors. It should be used whenever children are in the vehicle. The lock is located on the edge of each rear door. When the child-protector lock is in the locked position (1), the rear door will not open even if the inside door handle (2) is pulled.
To engage the child-protector lock, insert a key (or screwdriver) into the hole and turn it to the locked position. To unlock the rear door from inside the vehicle, disengage the child-protector lock.
WARNING
A child may fall out if the rear door is accidentally opened while the vehicle is moving. Always use the child-protector lock whenever children are in the vehicle.
