DEPOSIT

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat")
  3. Remove the file. (Refer to Body - Front Seatback Cover)
  4. Disconnect the lumbar support motor connectors (A).
  5. Release the retaining clips (A) from the seat frame.
  6. Remove the entire lumbar support after releasing the clip (A).

REMEDY

  1. Install the lumbar support assembly.
  2. Install the seatback trim.
  3. Install the front seat assembly.

Inspection

Lumbar Support Motor
  1. Disconnect the motor connectors.
  2. When battery power is applied to the motor connector, check that the motor operates smoothly.
  3. Then reverse the polarity and confirm the motor operates in the reverse direction.
  4. If the motor operates abnormally, replace it.
