Using the Paddle Shifters

The paddle shifters are available when the shift lever is in the D (Drive) position or manual shift mode.

With the shift lever in D

The paddle shifters will operate when the vehicle speed is above 6 km/h.

Pull back the [+] paddle (right side) to upshift or the [-] paddle (left side) to downshift. You will see the gear change on the instrument cluster LCD.

When using the paddle shifters and you want to return from manual shift mode to the "D" mode, do one of the following:

- Pull back the [+] paddle (right side) for more than one second.
- Move the shift lever from "D" (Drive) to the manual gate on the left side (toward the driver), and then move it back to the normal "D" position.

The vehicle will automatically return from paddle shift manual mode to Drive "D" mode if one of the following situations occurs:

- The accelerator pedal is depressed gently for more than 6 seconds while driving.
- The vehicle stops.

Information

If the [+] and [-] paddles are pressed at the same time, the gear may not shift.
