Seat Heaters (if equipped)

Seat heaters provide heating for the front seats in cold weather. With the ignition on (ignition key in the ON position), press one of the switches to turn on the driver's or front passenger's seat heater.

In warm weather, or when seat heating is not needed, the switches should be in the OFF position.

• Each time the button is pressed, the seat temperature setting changes as follows:

• The seat heater defaults to the OFF state each time the ignition is turned on.

NOTE

When the seat heater is on, the heating system built into the seat turns on and off automatically depending on the seat temperature.

The driver must take special care of the following categories of passengers.

1. Children of any age, elderly persons, or disabled or ambulatory patients.
2. Persons with sensitive skin or skin prone to burns.
3. Persons who are fatigued.
4. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. Persons taking medication that may cause drowsiness or sleepiness (sleeping pills, cold medicine, etc.).
