Personal Lamp

• The lamp is turned on and off by pressing the switch. This lamp provides a directional beam of light for the driver and passenger, which can be conveniently used to read a map or for other purposes.
• oN: the personal lamp remains on continuously.
• door: in the door position, the lamppersonal lamp and the interior lamp turn on when any door is opened, regardless of the key position in the ignition switch.

When the doors are unlocked using the remote control (or electronic key), the personal lamp and the interior lamp turn on for approximately 30 seconds, until any door is opened. The light gradually turns off 30 seconds after that door is closed. However, when the ignition key is turned to the oN (ON) position or all door locks are locked, the personal lamp and the interior lamp turn off immediately.

If any door is opened when the ignition key is in the ACC (Accessory) or LoCK position, the personal lamp and the interior lamp will remain on for approximately 20 minutes. If any door is opened with the ignition on, the personal lamp and the interior lamp will remain on continuously.

• off: The lamps do not turn on even when a door is opened.

h If the lamp is turned on by pressing its lens (1), it will not turn off even if the switch (2) is in the off position.
