Electronic Key

The electronic key can be used to lock and unlock the doors (and the tailgate/liftgate) and even start the engine without using the mechanical key.

The buttons on the electronic key function similarly to the buttons on the door lock remote control. (Refer to “Remote Door Lock Control” in this section.)

To remove the mechanical key, press the release button and, while holding it, pull out the mechanical key.

To return the mechanical key to its place, insert it into the slot and push until it clicks.
