Automatic Reverse

If the window detects any obstruction during automatic closing, it will stop and lower approximately 12 inches (30 cm) so that the object can be cleared.

If the window detects resistance while the power window switch is continuously pulled up, the window will stop moving up and then lower approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm).

If the power window switch is pulled up continuously again within five seconds after the window has been lowered by the automatic reverse function, the automatic reverse function does not operate.

✽ NOTICE

The automatic reverse function is active only when the auto-up function is used, by pulling the switch fully up to the second detent.

WARNING

Make sure that heads, other body parts, or other objects are in a safe position before closing the windows to avoid injury or damage to the vehicle. Objects less than 0.16 in. (4 mm) in diameter between the window glass and the upper window channel may not be detected by the automatic reverse function, and the window will not stop and will move in the reverse direction.
