The driver can disable the passenger door window switches by pressing the power window lock button.

  • The driver's switch panel can control the driver's power window.
  • The front passenger's switch panel cannot control the front passenger's power window.
  • The rear passenger switch panel cannot operate the rear passenger's power window.

WARNING

Do not allow children to play with the power windows. Keep the driver's door power window lock switch in the LOCK position (indicator on). Serious injury or death may result from accidental window opening by a child.

CAUTION

  • To avoid possible damage to the power window system, do not open or close two or more windows at the same time. This will also extend the life of the fuse.
  • Never try to operate the driver's master switch and a separate window switch in opposite directions at the same time. If this is done, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.
