Filter Inspection

The climate control air filter should be replaced in accordance with the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is driven in cities with heavily polluted air or on dusty unpaved roads for an extended period, it should be inspected and replaced more frequently.

When replacing the climate control air filter, follow the procedure below and take care not to damage other components.

1. With the glove box open, remove the stoppers from both sides so that the glove box hangs freely from its hinges.

2. Remove the support rod.

3. Remove the climate control air filter housing cover by pulling on both sides.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

✽ NOTICE

When replacing the climate control air filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may make noise and filter efficiency may decrease.
