The climate control air filter, located behind the glove box, filters dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle from outside through the heating and air conditioning system.

If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter over a period of time, airflow from the vents may decrease, which may cause moisture to build up on the inside of the windshield even when the outside (fresh) air mode is selected. In this case, have the climate control air filter replaced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

✽ NOTICE

  • Replace the filter according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is driven under severe conditions such as dusty or rough roads, the climate control filters may need to be inspected and replaced more frequently.
  • If the airflow decreases significantly, have the system inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
