Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) (Sensor Fusion)
Main Function

The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system uses a front view camera and front radar to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist ahead on the road. The system can warn you with a warning message on the instrument cluster and an audible warning if a collision is imminent. If necessary, it can help with braking your vehicle to help reduce collision speed and avoid a collision.
Junction Turning Function

This function uses the front view camera and front radar to help detect oncoming vehicles in the adjacent lane when turning left at an intersection with the turn signal on. If there is a risk of collision, it can help with braking your vehicle to help avoid a collision.
Information
Refer to the "Driver Assistance Sensors" sections in this chapter for the location and general precautions of the front view camera and front radar.
