Inspection
If there is a DTC related to the pressure sensor, inspect the pressure sensor in accordance with the inspection procedure.

Pressure Sensor Inspection Procedure

Measure the pressure sensor resistance

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the pressure sensor connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminal and the terminal.
  4. Check the measured resistance. (Refer to the table)
    Terminal Resistance
    PIN 2 – PIN 3 2.755 ~ 4.133 kHz
    PIN 1 – PIN 3 1.892 ~ 2.838 kHz
    PIN 1 – PIN 2 1.714 ~ 2.838 kHz

Removal

  1. Remove the coupling assembly. (Refer to Coupling Assembly - "Removal").
  2. Remove the extension cable (A).
  3. Remove the pressure sensor (A) using a 24 mm socket.
    • Keep the pressure sensor in a horizontal position during removal to prevent leakage.

    Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 9.8 N·m

Installation
  • Before installation, check that the pressure sensor is clean.
  • Inspect the O-ring of the pressure sensor (A).
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
