Pull the tilt lever (1) on the steering column downward and adjust the steering wheel angle (2) and position (3, if equipped). Move the steering wheel so that it points toward your chest, not your face. Make sure you can see the warning lights and gauges on the instrument panel. After adjustment, pull the lock lever (1) upward to lock the steering wheel. Push and pull the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked in position.

Always adjust the steering wheel position before starting to drive.

WARNING

NEVER adjust the steering wheel while driving. This may result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
