Automatic Operation

  1. Press the AUTO button on the faceplate or the AUTO button on the touchscreen on the Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) panel.
  2. Then adjust the temperature you want the system to maintain by using the driver and passenger temperature control buttons. Once the desired temperature is displayed, the system will reach and automatically maintain that comfort level.
  3. Once the system is set to your comfort level, there is no need to change settings. You will experience the greatest efficiency by simply allowing the system to operate automatically.

NOTE:

  • There is no need to change settings for hot or cold vehicles. The system automatically adjusts temperature, mode, and fan speed to restore comfort as quickly as possible.
  • The temperature can be displayed in U.S. or Metric units by selecting the US/Metric customer-programmable feature within the Settings menu.

To provide maximum comfort in Automatic mode during a cold start, the fan will remain at low speed until the engine warms up. The fan speed will increase and the system will transition to automatic mode.

Manual Operation

This system offers a full set of manual override functions. The AUTO symbol on the ATC display will turn off when the system is used in manual mode.
