Daytime Running Lights (DRL) - if equipped
In this manual: KNOW YOUR VEHICLE
~1min read
The daytime running lights are located in a dedicated position below the headlamp unit. The DRL are active when the low beam headlights are not on and the engine is running. The DRL can be deactivated by applying the parking brake.
NOTE:
- On vehicles sold in Canada, the daytime running lights are automatically deactivated when the front fog lights are turned on.
- On some vehicles, the daytime running light function may turn off or reduce intensity on one side of the vehicle (when the turn signal is activated on that side) or on both sides of the vehicle (when the hazard warning lights are activated).
