In this manual: SAFETY
~1min read
FCW Sensitivity and Active Braking Status are programmed through the Uconnect system.
- Far
- When FCW Sensitivity is set to "Far" and the system status is "Warning Only," the system alerts the driver to a possible collision with a vehicle ahead at a greater distance using audible and visual warnings.
- More cautious drivers who do not mind frequent warnings may prefer this setting.
- Middle
- When FCW Sensitivity is set to "Medium" and the system status is "Warning Only," the system alerts the driver to a possible collision with a vehicle ahead using audible and visual warnings.
- Near
- When FCW Sensitivity is set to "Near" and the system status is "Warning Only," the system alerts the driver to a possible collision at a closer distance with a vehicle ahead using audible and visual warnings.
- This setting provides a shorter reaction time than the "Far" and "Medium" settings, allowing a more dynamic driving experience.
- More dynamic or aggressive drivers who want to avoid frequent warnings may prefer this setting.
