The FCW button is located in the Uconnect display settings.

  • To turn the FCW system on, press the forward collision button once.
  • To turn the FCW system off, press the forward collision button once.

NOTE:

  • When FCW is on, the system alerts the driver to a possible collision with a vehicle ahead.
  • When FCW is off, the system does not alert the driver to a possible collision with a vehicle ahead. If FCW is set to off, "FCW OFF" will be displayed in the instrument cluster display.
  • When the FCW status is set to "Warning Only," the system does not provide limited active braking or additional brake assist if the driver does not brake sufficiently during a possible forward collision.
  • When the FCW status is set to "Warning and Braking," the system alerts the driver to a possible collision with a vehicle ahead using audible and visual warnings, and applies automatic braking.
  • The system will retain the last setting selected by the driver after the ignition is turned off.
