Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower crash pad panel and reinforcement panel (A). (Refer to Body - Crash Pad)
  3. Remove the nuts securing the EPB control unit (B), then remove the EPB control unit.

    Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

  4. Disconnect the connector (A) from the EPB control unit.

Installation

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  2. Make sure the brake operates normally by pressing the EPB switch more than 3 times after installing the EPB module.
