The electrical system of your vehicle is designed to operate under all reasonably expected driving conditions. However, before installing any additional electrical equipment in your vehicle, consult an authorized Kia dealer to ensure that you do not void your warranty.

Certain electrical equipment, or the way it is installed, may adversely affect the operation of your vehicle, including systems such as the engine control system, audio system, and charging system. As a result, your warranty may be voided in whole or in part.

Kia is not responsible for any expenses you may incur, or for any malfunction of your vehicle or any of its components or systems, that may result from the installation of additional electrical equipment not supplied or recommended for installation by Kia.

Installation of a Mobile Two-Way Radio System

If a mobile two-way radio system is installed incorrectly, or if an excessively powerful type of system is used, other electronic systems may be damaged. To avoid damage to your vehicle, consult an authorized Kia dealer regarding proper equipment and installation.

Kia vehicles are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed all applicable safety standards.

However, for your safety, we strongly recommend that you read and follow all instructions in this owner's manual, especially the information under the headings "NOTICE," "CAUTION," and "WARNING."

If you have questions about operation, safety, or malfunction of your vehicle after reading this manual, contact a Kia representative through the toll-free Consumer Support Hotline, as shown below:
