Roadside assistance is provided on all new current model year Kia vehicles from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail purchaser or otherwise placed in service (inactive date), whichever occurs first, for a period of 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions set forth in the Warranty and Consumer Information Guide applicable to your model year vehicle.

KMA reserves the right to limit or deny services or other benefits to any owner or driver when, in KMA's opinion, claims and/or service requests are excessive in frequency or type.

Kia uses a network of more than 30,000 roadside assistance providers. If you happen to run out of fuel, require a battery jump start, or need help changing a tire, a Kia Roadside Assistance Representative will send someone to deliver a small amount of fuel, replace a flat tire with your spare tire, or jump-start the battery so you can proceed to your destination. We have access to a network of more than 10,000 locksmiths to help you if you become locked out of your Kia.

If a mechanical malfunction makes your vehicle inoperable due to a warranty-related problem, a Kia Roadside Assistance Representative will arrange to tow your vehicle to the nearest Kia dealer or an authorized Kia service center.

Your vehicle must be accessible to our towing vehicle, as determined by our driver, in order to receive this service.

✽ NOTICE

Roadside assistance benefits are not available for any Kia vehicle that has ever been or should have been issued a "salvage" title or similar "branded" title under any state law, or has been declared a "total loss" by a financial institution or insurance company.

Trip Interruption

Trip interruption benefits are provided in the event of a warranty-related failure more than 150 miles from your home, and the repair requires more than 24 hours. Reasonable reimbursement includes meals, lodging or rental car costs. Trip interruption coverage is limited to $100 USD per day, up to a maximum of three days per incident. You must contact the Kia Roadside Assistance Center to obtain prior approval for expenses. Once the Kia Roadside Assistance Center authorizes trip interruption benefits, they will help you make the necessary arrangements. Insurance deductibles, expenses and claims paid by your insurance company or other providers are not eligible for reimbursement.

Fleet vehicles are excluded from reimbursement under the Kia Trip Interruption Policy.

Registering Your Vehicle in a Foreign Country

If you plan to register your vehicle in a foreign country, you must confirm that it complies with the regulations in that country. Even if you successfully register the vehicle in a foreign country, you may encounter the following problems, and you should consider them:

1. The fuel specified for your vehicle may not be available. Using fuel other than the specified fuel may cause damage to the engine, fuel injection system and other fuel-related parts, which may not be covered under the New Vehicle Limited Emissions Warranty.

2. Therefore, we must clearly state that when you leave the country in which you purchased the new vehicle and register it in another country, problems arising from the use of fuel other than the specified fuel are not subject to the manufacturer's warranty. Since vehicles like yours may not be sold in the new country of registration, replacement parts, service procedures and special tools required to service and repair your vehicle may not be available.

Even if vehicles like yours are sold there, the mechanical specifications required by the government may differ sufficiently from those of the country of purchase to cause additional problems.

3. There may not be an authorized Kia dealer in the area where you plan to register your vehicle. You may additionally experience difficulty obtaining service in a foreign country for a number of reasons.

In addition, we cannot accept any responsibility for problems resulting from unsatisfactory service or lack of service outside the United States.
