Inspection

Diagnosis Using GDS
  1. The GDS can quickly diagnose DDM/ADM defects. The GDS can perform forced actuator control, input/output value monitoring, and self-diagnosis.
  2. Select the model and "IPM".
  3. Select "DDM (Driver Door Module)" for inspection.
  4. Select "Input/Output Monitor" if you are checking the current data of the power door lock system. It shows the input/output status of the DDM/ADM.
  5. If you force-check the power door lock operation, select "Activation Check".
  6. To check the DDM/ADM module fault code, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes".

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door")
  3. Disconnect the connector (A) of the power window switch module from the wiring harness.
  4. Remove the power window switch module (A) from the door trim panel after loosening the mounting screws (13 EA).
  5. Remove the module (A) from the auxiliary box after loosening the mounting screw (3 EA).

Installation

  1. Install the power window switch module.
  2. Install the door trim panel after reconnecting the related connectors.
