Inspection

  1. Check the brake fluid level.
    Be careful, as brake fluid may injure your hands and eyes or damage painted surfaces. If fluid gets on your hands or in your eyes, flush the affected area immediately with clean water.
    If the brake fluid level is below the MIN line, check the clutch or brake lines for leaks and inspect the disc brake pads. If necessary, add brake fluid to the reservoir up to the MAX mark after repair or replacement. Use only the specified fluid. Avoid mixing different brands of fluid.

    Specified fluid: SAE J1703 (DOT 3 or DOT 4)
