Inspection

Make sure the brake pedal operates smoothly. Brake Pedal Height and Stop Lamp Switch Clearance Adjustment
  1. Disconnect the stop lamp switch connector (A).
  2. Adjust the brake pedal height (A) as shown in the illustration below.

    Pedal height (A): 174.2 mm (6.86 in.) Full stroke (C): 108 mm (4.25 in.)

  3. Adjust the stop lamp switch clearance (B).

    Stop lamp switch clearance (B): 1.0 ~ 2.0 mm (0.04 ~ 0.08 in.)

  4. Connect the stop lamp switch connector.
