Replacement

  1. Charge the refrigerant using the refrigerant recovery/recycling/charging station.
  2. Drain the coolant. (Refer to Traction Motor System - Coolant)
  3. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  4. Remove the coolant reservoir. (Refer to Drive Motor System - "Reservoir")
  5. Disconnect the refrigerant line (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
  6. Disconnect the refrigerant line (A) after loosening the nut, then remove the chiller coolant hose (B).
  7. Remove the cooler (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
