Front Seat Cushion Cover Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to protect your hands.

Using a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap protective tape around the tip and apply protective tape around the relevant parts to prevent damage. Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts so as not to damage the surface. Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

   Remove the front seat inner shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Inner Shield Cover)

   Remove the front seat outer shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Outer Shield Cover)

   Remove the front seat lower shield (A).

   Disconnect the connectors (A).

   Disconnect the seat cushion duct (B) by pulling the stopper pin (A).

   Pull out the hooks (A) and the front seat cushion cover (C) from the front seat cushion frame (B).

   Remove the front seat cushion cover (A) from the front seat cushion frame.

   After removing the hook-and-loop fastener (A) and the clips (B) from inside the front seat cushion cover, separate the front seat cushion cover (C).

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   To prevent wrinkles, make sure the material is evenly stretched over the cover (B) before fastening the clips (A). Replace the ring clips with new ones using the special service tool (C) (09880-4F000).
