Replacement
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands from injury.
  • When removing and installing the rear door, work with two or more persons.
  1. Remove the rear door trim. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")
  2. Disconnect the washer nozzle hose (A).
  3. Disconnect the connectors (A) and the rear door wire harness (B).
  4. Loosen the ground bolts (C).
  5. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door assembly (D).

    Tightening torque: 21.6~26 N·m

  6. Using a screwdriver, slightly lift the clips (A) on both ends of the rear door lift support (B).
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the trunk lid locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
    • Adjust the alignment of the rear door.
    • Make sure the connectors are connected correctly.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
