~2min read

If your vehicle is equipped with a roof rack, you can carry luggage on it.
Crossbars and roof rack mounting kits for your vehicle are available from an authorized Kia dealer or other specialized store.
NOTICE
- Make sure the crossbars (if equipped) are correctly positioned before placing objects on the roof rack.
- If your vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, make sure not to install the roof rack in a way that blocks sunroof operation. Do not leave luggage on the roof rack that obstructs sunroof operation.
- If the roof rack is not used for carrying luggage, remove the crossbars to prevent wind noise.
DANGER
- When carrying luggage on the roof rack, observe the correct loading procedure so the vehicle roof is not damaged.
- When carrying large items on the roof rack, make sure their total length or width does not exceed the roof dimensions.
- When carrying luggage on the roof rack, do not operate the sunroof (if equipped).
WARNING
- The following specification is the maximum weight that can be loaded onto the roof rack. Distribute the load as evenly as possible across the crossbars (if equipped) and the roof rack, and secure the load firmly.
ROOF RACK MAXIMUM 75 kg, EVENLY DISTRIBUTED
If the weight of the cargo or luggage exceeds the specified maximum roof rack load, your vehicle may be damaged. - The center of gravity of the vehicle is higher when items are loaded on the roof rack. Avoid sudden starts, braking, sharp turns, abrupt maneuvers, or higher speeds, which may cause loss of vehicle control, rollover, and so on, and may lead to accidents.
- Always drive slowly and carefully, and turn carefully when carrying items on the roof rack. Strong crosswinds, passing vehicles, or natural causes may generate strong upward pressure on items on the roof rack. This applies particularly if you carry large flat items such as wooden panels or mattresses. Items may fly off, damage your vehicle, or cause injury to others.
- To prevent any cargo from being lost during the trip and to prevent damage, make sure to check that the roof rack load is securely fastened before starting your journey and regularly while driving.
