The luggage compartment lamp turns on when the trunk (liftgate) is opened.

WARNING

It remains on until the trunk lid (liftgate) is closed again. To prevent unnecessary battery discharge, make sure to fully close the trunk lid (liftgate) as soon as you no longer need the luggage compartment.
