Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the lower hazard switch assembly (A) after loosening the screws.

Inspection

  1. Remove the lower hazard switch assembly.
  2. Apply battery voltage to terminal 3 and ground to terminal 4.
  3. Measure the voltage between terminals 4 and 2 in each position. [Switch Position]

  4. If the voltage is not as specified, replace the headlamp leveling switch.
