Replacement

  1. Remove the hood top cover. (Refer to "Hood Top Cover")
  2. Remove the main airbag assembly. (Refer to Airbag - "Main Airbag Assembly")
  3. Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")
  4. Disconnect the steering column connectors.
  5. Down the steering column after loosening the mounting bolts.
  6. Disconnect the connectors from the fan unit.
  7. Disconnect the multi-box connectors (A). [Driver]
    [Passenger]
  8. Disconnect the junction block connectors in the cabin (A).
  9. Disconnect the connectors (A) of the Airbag Control Module (SRSCM).
  10. Disconnect the connector (A) and the mounting clips on the front pillar. [Driver]
    [Passenger]
  11. Remove the cross member assembly (A) by removing the mounting bolts and nuts.
  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
