Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect the front and rear oxygen sensor connectors (A).
  4. Remove the front muffler. (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "Muffler")
  5. Remove the heat shield (A).

    Tightening torque: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

  6. Remove the exhaust manifold support (A).

    Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 49 N·m

  7. Remove the exhaust manifold (A) and gasket.

    Tightening torque: 29.4 – 41 N·m

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
