Parking Brake Inspection

Check that the travel is within specification when the parking brake pedal is depressed with a force of 30 kg (66 lbs, 294 N). Also, only the parking brake should reliably hold the vehicle on a fairly steep grade. If the travel is more or less than specified, adjust the parking brake at an authorized Kia dealer.
