Washer Fluid Level Inspection

The reservoir is translucent, so you can quickly check the level visually.

Check the washer fluid reservoir level and add fluid if necessary. In warm climates, plain water may be used if washer fluid is not available; however, in cold climates, washer fluid with antifreeze properties is required to prevent freezing.

WARNING - Flammable Fluid

Keep washer fluid away from open flames or sparks. The windshield washer reservoir may catch fire under certain circumstances. This may cause a fire.

WARNING - Coolant

  • Do not add engine coolant or antifreeze to the washer fluid reservoir.
  • Radiator coolant may severely reduce visibility if sprayed onto the windshield and may cause loss of vehicle control.

WARNING - Windshield Washer Fluid

Do not drink windshield washer fluid. Windshield washer fluid is poisonous to humans and animals.
