Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Ignition switch ON
  2. Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of the blower motor.
  3. Select the control switch to raise the voltage to high speed.

    First Speed 3.8 ± 0.5 V
    Second Speed 5.0 ± 0.5 V
    Third Speed 6.2 ± 0.5 V
    Fourth Speed 7.4 ± 0.5 V
    Fifth Speed 8.6 ± 0.5 V
    Sixth Speed 9.8 ± 0.5 V
    7th Speed 11.0 ± 0.5 V
    8th speed Battery

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the glove box housing. (Refer to Body - "Glove Box Housing")
  3. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the power MOSFET (B) after loosening the mounting screws.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
