  • Press the brake pedal.
  • Depress the clutch pedal on vehicles with a manual transaxle.
  • Shift to N (Neutral) on vehicles with an Intelligent Variable Transmission.
  • Press the CANCEL button.
  • Reduce vehicle speed below the set speed by 20 km/h. ).
  • Reduce the vehicle speed to approximately 30 km/h.

Each of these actions cancels cruise control operation (the SET indicator light in the instrument cluster will turn off), but the system does not turn off. To resume cruise control operation, move the lever up (to the RES+ position) located on the steering wheel. You will return to the previously set speed.
