The TPMS malfunction indicator lamp illuminates after flashing for approximately one minute when there is a problem with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. If the system is able to correctly detect the low tire pressure warning at the same time, the TPMS malfunction indicator lamp will illuminate in the event of a system failure.

Have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible to determine the cause of the problem.

The TPMS malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate when the vehicle is near power cables or radio transmitters, such as police stations, government and state agencies, radio stations, military facilities, airports, or transmission towers, etc. This may interfere with the normal operation of the tire pressure sensor.
