Towing a trailer

The Mazda6 is not designed for towing. Never tow a trailer with the Mazda6.

Recreational towing

An example of "recreational towing" is towing the vehicle behind a motorhome.

The transmission is not designed for towing this vehicle with all four wheels on the ground.

For recreational towing, refer to "Towing Description" (page 7-27) and "Tow Hook" (page 7-28) and follow the instructions carefully.
