WARNING

Never adjust the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving:

Adjusting the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving is dangerous. This action can easily cause the driver to turn the steering wheel sharply to the right or left. This may result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.

Steering wheel adjustment

To change the angle or length of the steering column:

  1. Stop the vehicle, then pull down the release lever located under the steering column.

  1. Tilt the steering wheel and/or adjust the length of the steering column to the desired position, then push the lever up to lock the steering column.
  2. Try to push the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked before driving.
