Installing the towing eye

  • Remove the towing eye from the storage compartment.

The towing eye is located in the storage compartment under the cargo area floor, below the inflation compressor.

  • Press cover 1 at the marking in the direction of the arrow.
  • Remove cover 1 from the opening.
  • Screw the towing eye in until it stops, turning it clockwise, and tighten it fully.

Vehicles equipped with a towing hitch: to tow, fold out the ball and attach the towing device to it.

Removing the towing eye

  • Loosen the towing eye and unscrew it.
  • Install cover 1 on the bumper and press it until it locks.
  • Store the towing eye and the inflation compressor in the storage box under the floor of the luggage compartment.
