The system helps prevent unintended rolling back when starting on a slope.

When the brake pedal is released while stopped on a slope, the brakes remain applied for an additional two seconds. The brakes release automatically as soon as the vehicle starts to accelerate.

Hill Start Assist is not activated during Auto Stop.
