Notice
The folding tow bar cannot be removed from the vehicle.
When driving without a trailer, fold the towing device down.

When unlocking the stowed tow bar, make sure you are positioned to the left of the handle.
Unlocking the stowed tow bar

Pull the handle to the left of the number plate under the rear bumper until it forms an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the ground.

An audible signal sounds to warn that the release handle has been pulled and the ball neck is unlocked.
Grasp the unlocked tow bar and raise it until it locks.
Make sure the tow bar is correctly locked and the release handle has returned to its original position, otherwise the audible signal will not stop.
Stowing the tow bar

Pull the handle to the left of the number plate under the rear bumper until it forms an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the ground.

An audible signal sounds to warn that the release handle has been pulled and the ball neck is unlocked.

With the flat of your hand, pivot the released tow bar to the right until it engages under the floor. Make sure the release handle has returned to its original hidden position, otherwise the audible signal will not stop.
Caution
The trailer may only be used when the tow bar is correctly locked in place. If the tow bar does not lock correctly, if the release handle cannot be returned to its original hidden position in the housing, or if the audible signal does not sound after locking the tow bar, contact a workshop.
